Easy timing and sync to perfectly match the music! Online lyric search (lrclib.net), with support for importing “*.lrc, *.ass and *.txt (UltraStar)” lyric files.

Import your playlists (M3U/M3U8/XSPF/PLS) and queue your songs. Export/import your karaoke setup (music, lyrics and singer list) using the “.kado” format.

Add up to 4 singers per song. Waiting screen between each singer/song — perfect to get ready for the next performance.

When will the software be available?
KaraDolphin is currently in Beta (0.8). It will be released once it’s sufficiently tested.
How many languages does KaraDolphin support?
The final version is planned to support 14 languages: German, English, Chinese, Korean (South Korea), Spanish, Finnish, French, Italian, Japanese, Filipino, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish and Ukrainian.
Which audio formats are supported?
KaraDolphin supports: mp3, wav, flac, wma and ogg.
Which playlist formats can be imported?
KaraDolphin can import: xspf, m3u, m3u8 and pls.
How do I sync lyrics?
Once your music and lyrics are loaded, start playback and when the lyrics begin, click “🎯 Calibrate”. You can fine-tune later in “⚙️ Sync”.
Does KaraDolphin save the initial position of the lyrics relative to the music?
Yes. Once the music has been calibrated with its lyrics for the first time, KaraDolphin automatically saves the offset. On subsequent playbacks, the music and lyrics will be synchronized automatically.
How can I make KaraDolphin automatically load the lyrics file when importing a song?
The lyrics file (*.lrc, *.ass, or *.txt in UltraStar format) simply needs to have exactly the same name as the audio file and be located in the same folder.
Where can I find lyrics?
KaraDolphin can automatically search for music lyrics on the Internet (lrclib.net). You can also manually download the lyrics from various websites (no guarantees): lyricsify, rclyricsband, kara.moe, usdb.eu.
Can I change the playback order?
Yes, you can reorder songs in the playlist.
Does KaraDolphin support drag-and-drop into the playlist?
Yes.
Can I save/import my setup (playlist, lyrics, singers)?
Yes! You can save/import your setup using the “.kado” format.
Is there a waiting time between songs or singers?
Yes. You can even adjust it in the software “🛠️ Settings”.
What are the two buoys at the top of the screen when playing a title?
This is the progression of music time. The “Dolphin” will gradually reach the “Arrival” buoy.
Where can I find instrumental tracks?
Great question! Unfortunately I can’t give a definitive answer. Some third-party tools can remove vocals. In the future, I’ll try to integrate automatic vocal removal into KaraDolphin. Feel free to donate!
Which operating systems are supported?
KaraDolphin currently runs only on Windows x64. It may work on Linux via Wine.
